Rolling balls of yarn on a rainy day

Happy Birthday Kat!

We were up with Adam at 6:30.  Jacob and Eli were up before 8:00.  After breakfast we took a walk around the campground.  The boys stayed to play with Andrew and Noah.  Then we played a game of tonk with Grandma. We took a walk over to the fort playground and Andrew and Noah came with us. On our way there we went through some of the fort buildings.  At the playground the boys and Jared played tag. After a little while Kat and Eric came there.  We headed back for lunch and had all planned on hiking the monastery trail after lunch.  A storm was on its way so we decided to hike the trail another day.  We headed into town with Grandma and Grandpa and went to see Leslie.  She was closing the shop because of the weather.  We got a bunch of yarn skeins and took them back to camp to work on rolling them into balls.  It was raining and we sat under Grandma's dining fly to work on the yarn.  Jacob and Eli played games in the screen tent and Adam had fun in the rain.  He went for a bike ride.  The rain stopped and Jared and I took a walk around the campground.  The kids had fun playing with the little squirt guns until dinnertime.  After dinner the kids went back to playing with squirt guns and riding scooters.  Grandma came over and we knitted and visited.  Then we all took a walk over to the fort store and Grandma and Grandpa treated us to ice cream to celebrate Kat's birthday.  Back at camp Grandma and Grandpa came over to sit by the fire.  Jacob and I went to the east campground to do laundry but it was busy.  The boys played games in the screen tent and then we made smores. We were in bed at 10:30
