Easter 2013

Easter baskets from Nana and Papa

Ready for an Easter egg hunt!

Jacob found the one big egg

A diaper worked well for the lamb - thanks Vikki!

Nephew Kody - he's so sweet!

We also celebrated Nana's birthday!

Boys and Kenzie playing with the lamb

Lauren wanted to get up with me at 1am to feed the bottle lamb. But she changed her mind when I woke her at that time, haha. Kenzie got up to check the ewes and feed the lamb by herself at 5am. We went out for our Sat am drinks and donuts on our way to my parents house. It was a beautiful day to celebrate Easter. Nana and Papa had an Easter basket made for each of the grandchildren. The younger kids found their baskets first. Then the older kids went to the other room to find theirs. They all had a great time going thru their baskets. We played outside until the pizza arrived for lunch. After lunch the dad's hide eggs for the Easter egg hunt. The kids raced around the yard in search of eggs. After all was found they opened up the eggs to find coins or candy inside them. We headed home around 3:00. Eli asked to hold the lamb on the drive home and they both fell asleep. No lambs born while we were gone and all the sheep/lambs were doing well.
