Tonight Kenzie and I went to the barn to check on the ewes. Ewe #46 had just lambed by the hay feeder. Kenzie went to the house to get Uncle Jared. Then we moved the ewe and her lamb into a stall. A second lamb came and was breech. Jared pulled this lamb. He and Kenzie worked to get it breathing good and towel dried it off. Kenzie snipped the umbilical cords and dipped them in iodine. Then she striped the ewes teats. We helped the second lamb stand. The lambs weren't doing well at nursing so we tubed them with a couple ounces of colostrum. Both are girls, one weighing 10lbs 6oz and the other is 13lbs 4oz. Both are doing really well.

This morning we took the boys to the barn to see the new lambs. The mom was nervous and stomped at the boys so we didn't stay in long.
