Showing the "ATM lady" how old he is.

Swimming at Delta

The boys wanted pictures with Evan

Eli opening his gift from Aunt Missy and family.

Eli crawled into our bed early this morning and fell asleep. When I woke up Jacob was also in our bed and Adam was on the floor. We all told Eli Happy Birthday. Adam invited Eli to come lay by him on the floor. Eli said, "Adam said I could lay with him!" The three boys were playing so cute together. As soon as we were all up Eli opened his presents. Jacob helped him with his card. He first opened a new scooter. While I got it out of the box he said, "Its a scooter! Its a scooter!" Jacob helped Eli learn to steer it. After he tried it he said, "I'm so excited about my new scooter!" He let Jacob and Adam try it too. Then he opened a matchbox car and said, "A matchbox car! It's like Jacob's!" Next he opened a a paper jamz music player. He was very excited about that too and liked the music we had loaded onto it. Lastly he opened a few packs of glow in the dark nerf darts. The boys played with nerf guns for awhile. Eli was saying, "Richard Dee Russell" over and over in the microphone. After breakfast we headed to town for drinks and donuts. Eli told the ATM lady that its his birthday and showed her 3 fingers. We went to Salvation Army and the boys and Daddy had fun playing with this table hockey game that had there. From there we headed to McDonalds to play and ate lunch. The boys had lots of fun playing there. Adam seemed to be feeling left out and lay on the steps pouting for a little while. But soon he was having fun playing with Jacob and some other kids. Jacob makes friends so easily when we go places. Adam is much more shy. The boys loved playing on the air hockey table. Eli would climb to the middle level of the play area and liked it there but any farther up he was nervous, even with Daddy. We met my family at Delta to go swimming. There we spent about 4 hrs and had so much fun. Jacob made a friend and they went around and around in the whirlpool area. Eli and Adam seemed to have the most fun in the shallow area with the fountains. But they also enjoyed the whirlpool. After we were all dried off Aunt Missy gave Eli his birthday present from them. He got two cool Monster trucks, a color your own mug, and some mini m&m's. On the way home we stopped at McDonalds for ice cream cones. We caught an opossum in the live trap so Jared took it down the road to free it. Eli wanted to go with Daddy. He fell asleep on the short drive home. Adam and Jacob stayed home with me. At home Eli saw his scooter and said, "My scooter!" He choose to watch Spirit (his favorite movie) this evening. We had pizza rolls for dinner. Grandma called and got to sing to the Birthday boy. I put Eli's little Monster truck cake on the table and he was pretending that he was going to take a bite out of it. He thought it was so funny. Eli sang along as we sang Happy Birthday to him again. The boys had a sleepout in the living room and watched some Backyardagains. It was a great day celebrating Eli turning 3!!!!
