8-9-12 (Day 13)

Jared and I were up around 6:15am. I had slept by Eli during the night and he slept good. The boys woke up around 8:00. After breakfast we took a walk. Grandma soon joined us on our walk. Jacob and Adam rode their bikes. We drove to town and went in a couple shops to look for patches for the boys sweatshirts. Eli also found a boat that he really wanted. He bought it and kept saying, “This is my boat. It can float on water Mommy.” I gave him a container to float it around in back at camp. We found a box with a bunch of flat boards in it. The boys used glue and to make some things with the wood. Jacob (and I) made a house, Adam made a playground, and Eli said his was a road. After lunch Eli asked if he could take a nap. He slept until we woke him around 4:00. We went to town to visit Leslie. Jacob and Adam had been begging to go there. They were excited to get their pottery today. Leslie let the boys keep some raku pottery that had broken. We got to look at the hive with the hornets that had stung Eli yesterday. We showed it to Eli and he said he’d hit it. We got back to camp around 5:30. After dinner the boys played with their trucks and other toys. Katrina brought Brooke and Dominic over to play. Grandma came over too. A little later we went for a walk with Grandma around the campground. Adam was walking on the trail by the road and asked Eli to come with him. They held hand and then pretended to be a train. We went to bed around 10:00.
