After breakfast this morning Adam was flying his paper airplane and said to Jacob, “Watch this bad boy!” Eli loves to wave lately. He was sitting by me on the couch but as he backed off it he stopped to wave bye to me. The boys watched Popeye. Eli went over to sit on the couch by his brothers. The boys sure have been playing with the duplo legos a lot. They love to build huge car haulers, campers, boats and other things. They play so nicely together. Eli was acting tired and when I asked if he was ready for a nap he said “uh huh”. After laying him in his crib he called “A-yum” The boys lay by him in his crib for a few minutes. We went outside and played house. The boys love playing in the apple tree. I screwed a board across some branches so they could have a little fort which they love. They have a little rubik's cube keychain which they said is their weather radar. Jacob told me what all the colors mean, like red means really extreme. We came inside for lunch. Eli woke up and we ate lunch a little late today. Then we went back outside to play. Eli liked being pushed around on the tricycle and ringing its bell. I trimmed the apple tree and the boys helped me haul all the branches to the burn pile. Around 4:30 I tucked Eli in for another nap. We watched Thomas train while I did my afternoon run. The boys were hiding in their tree fort when Daddy got home from work. They picked a couple apples which I peeled and they ate. After dinner we went back outside. The boys went back to playing in their fort. Adam said, “Hi Mom, were officers. The boys “painted" the deck and house with water. Eli painted too and really liked doing that. Jared went on the roof to clean out the gutters. After he finished Jacob and Adam got to go up on the roof with him. They thought that was really cool. We found a baby toad. Eli is right there with his brothers wanting to touch the it too. Norman was outside with us most of the time today. He loves chasing balls or frisbees. We all took a bike ride down our road. This evening we called Grandpa to sing Happy Birthday to him.

These pictures are the best. Boys on the roof...boys in the tree...boys, boys. Eli is getting to be a regular boy with a great sense of humor. Funny, funny. What color is his hair. Looks a little red! See you SOON!
There are a lot of great pictures in these recent posts, Kimmy.
However, I am starting to wonder whether you need to think about adding on to this house . . . Is anyone coming to look? Is it a sign that you and Jared were meant to keep it forever? And maybe buy a couple more horses?
Or is it a sign that you just need long standing patience?
I guess since Grandma wrote "See you soon" that I will be missing out on posts for a period of time. Oh, well, I survived other summers . . .
The apple tree is the best. Lighting is great. How about one with Eli added. Then do a 5 by 7 and send south and I would be most impressed. One picture with the boys and Norman...Eli and Norman's hair seem to be almost the same color. Adams expression is priceless in the tree.
Some people (including Jared) have said Eli's hair looks a little red. A lady in the store today commented on his "red hair".
Uncle Dee, Its a good thing we love living here because we might here forever:)Though it will be nice to save money if we do move. Its been a while since anyone has come to look at it. We're leaving early Sat morning for Copper Harbor and will be gone for a couple weeks.
