6-20-11

I got up around 6am to exercise. Jared left for work a little early this morning though he woke up later than he wanted to. Jacob and Adam slept in until around 8:45. Eli woke up with bad diarrhea. After cleaning him up I fed him some oatmeal. We watched Bob the Builder. Got out foam blocks and the boys were playing “explosion” with them. They would stack them up using a long foam block as a lever to hit, sending the other pieces flying. The boys were really excited about VBS which starts this evening. Adam kept asking when we were going to “Bible school”. We went outside to play in the sandbox until lunchtime. They found some Daddy long leg spiders which were entertaining for them. The boys like to bury their feet in the sand. Eli really enjoys the sand too. After lunch I tucked Eli in for his nap. Then I did a 30 min run. The boys used foam blocks to make a large parking lot and were driving their trucks around it. Eli woke up around 3:00. We went outside to play for awhile. Eli enjoys going up in the fort. The boys had fun playing in the sandbox and on the fort. This evening the boys went to VBS at our church. While they were there we went shopping at Kohl’s, Best Buy, and Home Depot. They boys had so much fun at VBS and are looking forward to going again tomorrow.
