Fathers Day 2011

Adam crawled into our bed around 8:30am. We had to wake up Jacob and Eli. The boys were really excited to give Daddy his Father’s Day present. Eli was hungry for his banana so Daddy gave him bites of that while opening his gifts. The boys thought it was really funny to trick Daddy and give him a little squirt gun before bringing out his super soaker. After church today Jacob was talking about what he learned in Sunday school today. Adam said, “I learned about that too!” They’d learned about Jonah and how he repented and went to Ninevah. We got to my parents house around 12:30. My sister’s and their families also came over. Mom made pizza’s which were really yummy and Jacob ate 4 pieces. Dad and Jared played some ping pong while the boys played downstairs. Eli was really tired so I tucked him in after feeding him his lunch. The kids spent a lot of time playing outside. It was a beautiful day. Kenzie made a cake with frosting. Eli was fussy this evening. We forgot his blanket which didn’t help. He’s very attatched to his blankey. Mom is going camping for a couple weeks and they are leaving tomorrow so I helped her get ready for that. The boys liked playing with the wagon she uses to haul loads from the house to the camper. We got home around 9pm.
