7-15-11 (Camping Day 2)

Jacob and Adam were up around 7am. They went potty and then lay back in bed watching chipmunks and squirrels from their window. We had poptarts for breakfast. Eli loved them too. Jared's coworkers picked him up around 8:15 to head up North for a team building day. They spent the day on their bosses boat and went tubing and water skiing. Then Scott took them out for dinner. Jacob and Adam made roads in the dirt to push their cars on. Eli collected rocks which he put in the frisbee. We took a walk and the boys rode their scooters around the campground. Jacob rode his scooter on the curb and Adam followed. The boys love riding their scooters or bikes down the hills. We went to the playground. Eli didn't want to get out off the swing but also enjoyed playing on the big sand hill. Jacob said, "I wish we were the owners of this sand, Right?" Jacob drew some people in the sand. We went back for a snack and to tuck Eli in for his nap. Adame put some frisbees in the dirt and would stomp on them to make "smoke". Jacob and I played catch with the frisbee. I took the boys to the beach but got kicked off because of Norman. Mel and her family soon arrived and set up camp next to us. Today is Jack's 3rd birthday! I took him and Adam for some wagon rides. Hailey and Jacob went for a bike ride around our campsite loop. Jacob took some falls off his bike today and skinned his elbow. While Mel and Bruce finished setting up camp I took the five oldest kids to the beach. We had a fun walk there. Hailey and Jacob said they were BFF's. Then Hailey said, "And my brothers are my BBF's." Then later she said her cousins were her BCF's. Jacob and Max found lots of snail shells. Bruce worked on making foil dinners while Mel and I took the kids to the playground. Jared got back and came to the playground. After dinner the kids had hot chocolate. We sat by the fire this evening and made smores.
