Happy Birthday Eli, 11 years old!!!
Eli asked us to wake him up early so we woke him around 6:00. He sat by his presents trying to guess what was in them. Wyatt jumped up onto his lap without being invited. Eli held him and gave him a big hug. We woke the other boys and they got ready for school. Eli was ready to open his presents. He got a couple star wars lego sets, rollerblades, a sketchpad, a giant glowstick, some candy, gum and some sticky, stretchy toys. Nana called to talk to the Eli and sang Happy Birthday to him. On our drive to school Kenzie called and talked to the birthday boy. I stopped at the post office on the way home. We picked Eli up from school just before his lunch time. Jared took the rest of the day off work. We went to the rail trail so he could try out his rollerblades. He and Daddy rollerbladed and I walked Wyatt. Eli fell a few times and took some breaks in the grass. It was cold and windy so we didn't go to far. From there we went to Mcdonalds for lunch. Eli got a chicken nugget meal with a strawberry shake. At home Eli started building his smaller lego set. After a while he took a break and played parkour on minecraft with Daddy. Daddy went to school to get Jacob and Adam. Eli finished the first lego set and started on the second. Jacob had homework to do. Eli, Daddy and Adam had fun playing with the sticky toys. Adam drew faces on all the balloons and named them. Grandma called and talked to Eli. The boys played minecraft with Peyton. Daddy went to town to get pizza and breadsticks for dinner. We ate dinner while watching tv. Eli worked on his larger lego set and finished it. We sang to Eli and had cake and ice cream. Eli was too full for cake but later ate a mint klondike bar. He got to stay up a little later and played with legos. Then he sat on my lap and we watched Dick VanDyke. We had a fun day celebrating with our 11 year old!

Love all the birthday pictures! You both did a great job on the cake! I love all Eli's expressions and his huge smile in the picture where he is pointing. Looks like he kept his ankles nice and straight when rollerblading. Sounds like a very fun day on his special day! Nice that he still likes sitting on your lap! He is a special boy for sure!
Great pictures. And LOTS of them. Finally back on line after the repair guy was here from 1 to 7. New lines outside with the buried line not working any more. Such a patient worker. Great day of celebrating Eli...YOU got out of school!!!! And YOUR dad rollerblades. I didn't know that.
