Playing TicTacToe in the dust. Haha
We finished weaving the Oscar rug.
Eli got a fat lip from a nerf rival ball
This morning I trimmed pots. Jared came home from work around 11:00 and we unloaded the kiln. At 11:40 we had our IEP meeting. The principle, the school psychologist, the special ed teacher, and Mrs Gaumond (Eli's ELA and social studies teacher) were all at the meeting. Mrs Stiner, the psychologist, went over all the testing results. She said many times that Eli was a joy to work with. She was telling us how she had Eli write a paper which was supposed to be like he was writing for the news. She said most kids would write about a game they play but Eli wrote about the election and Covid. She said it was great. Most words were spelled wrong but he had a lot to say and she enjoyed reading it. The special ed teacher then went over the accommodations the school is going to provide for Eli. It was a very good meeting and I'm so glad Eli is going to be getting the help he needs. This afternoon I worked on waxing all the pots. Then I glazed the inside of them. Jared had to run a cup and honey dippers into the shop. The cup was lost in bubble wrap in the bottom of a box. It was on their inventory list and they already knew it was missing. We sold a few thing at the shop. After dinner Jared and I finished weaving the Oscar rug and took it off the loom. The strings on the loom have become a tangled mess. We were going to glaze pots this evening but untangling the strings is taking a long time. We quit around 10:30 and will work on it again tomorrow.

The sheep pictures so beautiful. It's Eli's in the front. Forgot it's name! Great news on Eli. Happy to know you made that decision. I wish I were closer. Rug...do you have a wool site. I think you do so will you put it on line to sell? Another Kiln load coming. Maybe Sat? Open Mon!!!!
So...how many pieces are off the shelf in the shop? Inquiring minds want to know. Another mug is off the etsy site. Woo, woo. Up early 5:20 with my cup of coffee and you!
That sheep picture should be on a calendar! What a great picture. Poor Eli's lip. Ouch. Happy your pottery is selling! Yay! Eli is a pretty neat kid. I see why they like him so much and are impressed by him.
We loaded the kiln this evening so should be opening it Sun morning. We sold a mug, 2 spoon rests, and a toothpick holder.
