We drove past Great Gifts today.

Got a bunch of wood for building shelves.

Wyatt kept putting his paw on Jacob's shoulder when he stop petting him.

Playing jenga

Staining

We loaded the kiln this morning. Had Sat goodies.  Played a game of soccer with the boys.  Our team didn't score.  I took a dive to the ground and fell flat on my face.  Jacob tripped me going after the ball.  We went to town to take packages to the post office.  Stopped at Home Depot to get wood for building shelves.  We are building three shelves.  A big shelf and two smaller ones. The boys helped us find good boards.  At home we started working on building shelves.  Daddy cut a bunch of little boards and the boys made a jenga game out of it.  They loved it.  Jared cut boards and the boys helped with sanding and distressing boards.  They took all the boards to the gravel in the driveway and beat them up.  We tried several different methods and this was the best.  We took the boards inside and started staining the boards.  Some boards are dark walnut and other boards we made a really light walnut by mixing a natural stain with the walnut until we got the color we wanted.

Love, love, love the work shop. Use what you have. Great idea. Today should be busy for sure. Shelves...later Kiln...soccor...I hope Jacob helped you up after your face plant. You are the old guy remember. You probably don't. That comes with age. Cute dog talking to Jacob in the car. If only they really had English in their vocabulary. Will be fun to see the booth! And...the mug I was talking about that said green color but looks brown to me with a little blue. It's ON the sold page! It's so interesting. You have no trouble staying busy! Do the kids do box packing. They should.

OOPS...reread the Sat. Story...Not the old guy who took a faceplant. It was you Kimmy. Jacob might be eating on the patio for a spell. And then...maybe not. Mothers have a soft place for their kidos. Grandmas might say the patio. Nana's never would. Right Penny?
