We got to Nana and Papa’s house around 9:45. Kenzie, Travis, and Vikki’s family were there. Nana had everything looking so nice. The table was filled with yummy snacks and punch was made. We passed out presents and started opening gifts youngest to oldest. Isaac and Peyton were first. Jacob, Adam and Eli all got legos, snowballs, and money. They also got a mad libs word game book. Jacob got an i-tunes card. Travis made the boys some really cool glass light saber's. Melissa and her family arrived so we all went to the garage with our masks on. Dad started off by reading the Christmas story from the bible. His glasses kept foaging up with his mask on. The kids all enjoyed doing their secret gift exchange. Adam was super happy to have the last two book in his minecraft collection. Jacob got a cool 1000 pc star wars puzzle. And Eli got a smart reusable notebook and a paint by number picture. Us girls families went in together and got Dad some muck boots. Mom opened a gift to Mel’s family which was a new roasting pan. Papa and Nana gave all the kids $5 fast food gift cards. We went outside to get a family picture together. It was so cold and windy. We said goodbye to Mel’s family and went back inside and back to opening gifts. Kenzie and Travis gave us all some really great glass pieces. Kenzie made us a cat pendant to remind us of Peter. Travis made us an awesome glass chicken. I got a new pendant, some button pendants, corks, and a cute little vile with dried flowers in it. From Mom and Dad I got a super nice electric blanket. Also some soup bowl hot pads, a knitted dish cloth, a scrubby, and a Tim Horton’s card. Jared got a Home depot card and a wireless charging station for his phone. Travis made him some awesome penguin’s and a light saber. We sure loved seeing all Kenzie and Travis’s glass pieces. They are so talented! Mom and Dad opened their gifts last. Dad got Mom a new key fob for his truck since she lost their spare about 5 years ago. Vikki knitted Mom a really soft blanket for her bed upstairs. Travis made mom a beautiful cross and an angel for Mom. He made Dad a big marble. We ate around 2:00. Everything was so yummy!! Thank you Mom!! Kenzie and Travis had to leave to go to Omi’s and then Travis’s sisters house. The boys built their legos sets in the basement. We watched Dad and Jared play several ping pong games. Dad won 3 games and Jared won 2. Then we moved things around in the basement. The ping pong table is much better under the light on the other side of the room. Vikki and I played a couple ping pong games. Vikki won both games. We played a game of 3-13 and Vikki won. Jacob came in second. We had yummy pie for desert. I made apple and Mom made choc pudding and banana cream pie. We went back down to the basement to play ping pong. Vikki and I each played a game with Mom. Then Adam played with Aunt Bippi. Jared came down and played with the boys. We played a fun paper game where we each had 2 minutes to rip in paper a Christmas tree behind our back. Then we voted to decide who’s was the best. Jacob and Nana won the tree. Then we did snowmen behind our backs. Jacob and Nana won that too but I came in third. It was really fun. On the drive home the boys had a lot of fun doing their Mad Lib’s and reading them. They were laughing so hard. Such a fun day!
