Eli and Adam came with me to the post office. They took the packages in for me. Today I worked on packing up all the pottery in boxes. Jacob had a lot of school work and worked on it until bedtime. He did take a break to watch some tv and played minecraft. He had a headache this evening. Jacob and Adam helped me load the shelves in the van and carry out all the boxes. I decided I should make a Pottery sign so I went to the barn and found a piece of wood I liked on a pallet. I pried it off, cut it and sanded it. We had some grey stain so I used that to stain it. I asked Jared to picked up some stencils on his way home. Used the paint from the old lamp on the letters. Jared held them in place while I painted each letter. I used a blow dryer to help dry it. Then Jared nailed two little boards to the back so it would stand. I leaned on the counter to help Jared hold the sign in place and I leaned both my arms on wet letters. I had a letter stenciled to each arm. It was oil based paint so I had to scrub to get it off. I was glad my sleeves were pushed up. The boys stayed home because all the van seats were down to fit the shelves. We had fun setting up the shop. Talked to the owner for awhile before leaving. We stopped to get coffees from Tim Hortons on our way home. We loaded a full kiln this evening for a bisque firing. We have decided to keep the boys doing online school until after Christmas break.

Yes, yes, yes...great story to read this morning. The shop looks wonderful. Sign, awesome...display awesome...full kiln awesome...and I think the kids staying home...hope that goes well with the school folks. Woo...You might have time to sit a spell today. Wouldn't that be awesome!!! Taking my head in today to get fixed! Should be really interesting to say the least. What will they do...I think I know! Gross. But necessary. I'll let you know for sure tonight. Take care and keep thinking. I know you will. Love you ALL!
I see papers on the shelf. Is that your bio? Adam is sitting in the middle aged mans chair. What's with that! And behind the blanket in the corner. Is that Jack Horner...Eli Russell?????? He's found his safe place for sure. I share the movie on my facebook! Humm...sshhhh...even sent the Etsy address again. I'm not shy as you well know. Can't do anything much with this old lady.
Good shot of Eli with his plain in mid air. Handsome boys in these pictures. I love that you have buttons on your display too. I was just admiring my button you made me for my towel holder yesterday. What letters did you pick for your arms. Yay that your sleeves were rolled up. I don't even like cleaning up regular paint let alone oil based.
Yes. The papers on the shelf are our bio. Jared printed it on some nice stationary paper.
E and I were painted on my arms. Haha
