Its show day!

This picture of Adam was in the Midland news.

We got to the fairgrounds around 7:30. The boys fed their sheep and then we went to check on the turkeys. The sheep show started at 9:00. The first class in was the senior showmanship. Jacob got to watch them before it was his turn. He is in the intermediate showmanship class. He did great and won first place!! Adam was in next for junior showmanship and he also won 1st place!!  They got blue ribbons and plaque. They also went in classes for market and Midland county special. The Romney sheep never place well in these classes but they still got ribbons and had fun. Eli had fun getting the gate for people. Someone said he should be getting a tips. It was nice and cloudy this morning. Before heading home we went to McDonalds for ice cream shakes. We also stopped at the post office and the library. We sold 3 fleeces of wool which had to be shipped to FL.  I had a horrible headache and it even made my eye's blurry. I laid on the couch for a couple hours with ice packs on my head.  It felt a little better after that.  Adam and I played a game of 3-13.  Now we know Adam is good for a 95 point hand!  It was the A's round and I had 4 and he had -54.  Well, I won! When Jared got home from work we headed to the fair to take care of animals. We walked around the animals and went through the merchant buildings. We ate a late dinner and watched tv.
