It felt really warm in the house this morning so I turned off the corn burner. Jacob and Eli hurried to get ready so they could play a card game. At work we are making turkeys and pumpkin bars for all the kitchens in our district (over 700 servings). So the next couple days I am going in early and staying late to help with that. After work I went home and finished trimming my honey pots and put on knobs. Then I started knitting on a mitten but noticed a mistake and had to take out a lot of stitches. The boys got home around 4:00 and started packing their lunches. I helped Eli get his packed. Jacob brought in a bag of wood pellets and I got the fire started. Eli worked on his spelling and math and did his reading. Adam and Jacob practiced their instruments. Then Adam and Eli played minecraft and Jacob played Tanki. I walked the recycling down to the end of our road and then took a walk in the woods. Jared had a dentist appointment after work and got caught in a traffic jam on his way home. After dinner Jared worked on his honey pots. Jacob and Eli finished their game of 3-13 and Adam and I played battleship. Then we all played 3-13. The boys and Daddy were having fun reciting "Grandpa's poems". After the boys were in bed I got some batts ready for spinning. I am using Blanch's wool.
