Day 7

Pebble Beach

Playing a made up game with a large washer that Adam found

I showed Jared this picture of him yawning and then tried to get another.

He's so silly - haha

We were up at 6:30 and the boys slept until around 8:00.  Grandpa came over to show us a picture of a 4-point buck he'd seen on his walk this morning.  We saw a couple pileated woodpeckers that landed in a tree on our site. After breakfast we took a walk around the campground.  Grandma walked with us and the boys rode their scooters.  Then we went to the east campground and to wash some laundry. We walked around there while waiting for it to get done.  Daddy gave the boys some money so they could walk to the fort store and buy pops from the machine.  They also played at the fort playground.  After lunch Jacob took Norman for a walk around the campground.  Adam let Jacob wear his fitbit today so he was trying to get a lot of steps.  Adam, Eli and Daddy took a bike ride to get ice for our cooler because the pickle jar leaked into our cooler.  We relaxed at the site for a couple hours then walked over to Pebble Beach.  Adam played in the water and Jacob played on the beach. Jacob didn't want to take off his fitbit.  Daddy and Eli went blueberry picking.  We hiked the trail in the woods and then went back to camp to make dinner.  After dinner we took a walk.  Grandma took the scooter around again with the boys. Grandma brought over the newspaper and the boys loved reading the comics.  She let Eli cut a section out of the paper with the scissors on his pocket knife. We sat by the fire and made s'mores.

Did Grandma get better and better on the scooter? It looks like fun. It is nice that the boys shared the scooter with her.
Frankie seems to have a lot of fun at Copper Harbor, too. Does he eat a lot of Grandma's pancakes?
Is Eli's knife a Swiss army knife? I have a Swiss army knife with scissors.
