Jared took the day off work today to celebrate my birthday. The boys made birthday cards and were excited to give those to me this morning. After taking the Jacob and Adam to school we went to town to get Tim Horton's for coffee. Then we went back home to get Dad’s truck. We had to unload the fence rolls from the tr*uck. Eli loved riding in Papa's truck while we drove around the yard to unload the rolls where we needed them. We meet my parents and Vikki at Riverside for breakfast. Greg also stopped by to visit and it was nice seeing him. Eli liked watching the chipmunks eating corn cobs out the window. We had a really nice visit and stayed for a couple hours. I had some birthday money so we stopped at Home Depot on the way home. I got some channel lock and pruning shears. We got home just before Adam got off the bus. After lunch I tucked Eli in for a nap. We went outside to work on putting up the new fence. Adam was such a great helper. We worked on this until it was time to get Jacob off the bus. Jacob had a fat lip and said, “A boys forhead ran into me!” Eli woke up around 4:00. We made roast, carrots, and potatoes in the pressure cooker but the cooker was working to well and it set of the smoke alarm. The meal turned out good though. Jared and Jacob headed to Cub scouts. Eli, Adam and I went outside. I cut down brush with the loppers. Adam helped me using my new pruning shears. Jo (the cat) came out by us and Eli liked petting her. He was being silly and kept coming up to me and sticking out his tongue. Jacob gave me many hugs today and would tell me Happy Birthday. He also gave me birthday spankings. We had ice cream this evening. The boys and Daddy sang happy birthday to me and helped me blow out my candle (t-light). After the boys were in bed we watched Mrs Doughtfire and had popcorn.

Kimmy use a crockpot..then you can start it in the morning and let it go all day. You wont have to worry about the smoke detector going off then
