Eli woke up around 8:30 and I brought him out to cuddle on the couch by me. Jacob came out to cuddled with us too. After breakfast Jacob wrote about his birthday party in his summer journal. Jacob and Adam played a Wii game and Eli smiled as he watched them dancing to the music. We watched WordWorld. The boys and I were sitting on the floor building with their legos sets when Jacob remembered riding the helicopter ride at the fair (Adam and I were building a helicopter). He said, “Do you remember that? I have some good rememberies.” Before lunch I asked Adam if he’d made his bed this morning and he said, “Ohhh, I forgot! I keep forgetting!” as he ran to make it. When Jacob found out that Adam and Daddy got shapes mac-n-cheese which we were making for lunch he said, "Thank you Adam. That is awesome!” Eli woke up just in time to eat lunch with us. After lunch we went outside. It was about 90 degrees and sunny. Eli likes to kick balls and was kicking the soccer ball around. Jacob and Adam took off their clothes so they could get wet in their underware. They wet the green slide using their water guns or buckets and went down it fast. They would slide several feet off the end. Then we hooked up the slip n slide. Jacob and Adam had so much fun sliding down that and splashing in to the little pool at the bottom. Eli was happy just watching his brothers. Our water shuts off after being on full speed for a while so I went to the barn to flip the braker. We saw a snake going after a toad but it got scared and went into the barn. The boys liked seeing that. We came inside after a couple hours in the heat. The AC felt nice. The boys picked out some books for me to read to them. Eli looked so sleepy. I thought he was going to fall asleep while walking. I kept him up til Jared came home so he could see him before leaving to work out of town. Jared had about an hour before he had to leave. I told Eli to give Daddy a hug goodbye and he walked over to him reaching for a hug – it was so sweet. The boys played with legos until dinnertime. Eli woke up around 6:30. After dinner the boys went to play with blocks/plastic animals in the bedrooms. I turn on some kid music for Eli and I to listen to. Jacob and Adam heard it and came running out of the bedroom to dance to it. They made a tent at the end of the hall way using the gate and some blankets. They put blankets over their heads and walked around the room pretending to be ghosts. Eli holds the phone up to his ear and smiles or talks some. The boys were excited because I told them they could sleep out on the floor by me in the living room. We watched 101 Dalmations.

The boys are all getting so big. I was impressed to see how the two older boys can climb up a door frame. That takes strength! Adam and Jacob must be building up some big muscles.
And, once again, I am only taking it on faith that the third boy is really Eli. He has hit that place where suddenly he is big and grown up.
