6-5-11

I had a hard time sleeping last night because I was coughing alot. We stayed home from church today. Eli cuddled on the couch with me for awhile and then Adam climbed up to cuddle by us. I sat on the couch to watch the boys play and drink my coffee. Eli also sat on the couch with his blankey for awhile. Jacob and Adam set up some blankets behind the green chair and pretended it was their rocket. They said we were connected to their rocket and riding with them in space. They gave us some oxygen too. Around 10:30 I tucked Eli in for a nap. Daddy and Adam headed into town to get some groceries, car parts, and papers. Jacob and I mostly played house. He wanted to pretend we had 200 baby chicks to take care of. He was their Daddy and wanted me to be their Mommy.  We played doctor too. I was the doctor and the Mommy and Jacob was the little boy. Then we played Connect 4 under the piano bench. Daddy and Adam surprised us with slurpies (cappuccino for me). Eli gets really nervous if we lift him over our head or spin him around. He went in the bathroom and wanted to brush his teeth. I set him on the counter by the sink and let his spash his feet in the water for awhile. He likes putting his toothbrush under the running water. While he was napping we went outside to plant the garden. The boys planted the first few rows but then Adam was ready to go play. After next row Jacob went off to play too. Then the boys, Daddy, and I had a really fun water fight with squit gun, spray toys, and buckets. We were all soaked and had so much fun! We made a water slide with the hose by the yellow curly slide. Adam only went down that a couple times (once with me and once by himself). Jacob loved it and went down it many times. Adam would go down the green slide though. He asked to get out the slip and slide which we did. They had so much fun sliding on that. Then Adam decided to take off his pants and go down. They went down so much faster naked but were covered in grass. Daddy hosed them off before coming back inside. I came inside to get Eli who woke up and changed into dry clothes. Then Eli and I sat on the deck to watch the boys having fun. Eli was so cuddly and I loved it. It was almost 7pm when we came inside. We watched Spirt and had popcorn, lemonaide and ice cream.
