5-30-11

I woke up this morning to the smell of a mess in Norman’s kennel. After cleaning that up I went outside to work on the camper until the kids and Jared were up. We headed to my parents house around 11:30 stopping at Tim Horton’s on the way. It was a fun Memorial Day spent with family and friends. Papa got some play sand for the sandbox which the boys had fun playing in. The weather was very warm and sunny. After eating, the kids had a ton of fun playing in the sprinkler. Jacob and Adam opened a birthday present from Aunt Missy, Uncle Bruce and kids. They got a hot wheels loop track and launcher, and some matchbox cars. Wes brought a game called corn toss which was fun.  Eli was really tired and took a long nap in his peapod. We were eating ice cream when he woke up and he shared mine. Evan is a month old already and we all took turns holding him. The boys brought their scooters and the kids rode those and bikes in the driveway. Eli loves to swing on the hanging swings and sat next to me. Max crawled by us to swing too. We took Vikki and Kenzie home and Adam spent the night there. Jacob is really excited that he is off school for “3 whole months!” He played with his new launcher hot wheels set. I tucked Eli in for bed. Then Jared and I cleaned up a huge mess in Normans cage.
