The last couple days I've been sick with a bad cold. I worked on cleaning the house and getting ready for Jacob's birthday party with his friends from school. Jacob and Adam stayed with Aunt Bippi on Thursday night and Vikki and Kenzie stayed with us Friday night. Eli got to spend the night at Nana and Papa's house Friday night. Jared, Kenzie and I worked on Jacob's lego cake Friday night. He was really excited to see it this morning. Jacob showed us how he can do push ups. We went out for drink's/donuts and Aunt Bippi and Kenzie got to come with us. Then we headed to Jacob's soccer game. Jared left just before the game was over to get pizza's for the party. The party started at 1:00 and we got home around 12:30. Wraelyn and her mom arrived first and Jacob greeted her with a big hug (all his friends got lots of hugs). Soon Nik was there too. Keaton came a little late and we had just finished pizza. The boys gobbled up several pieces of pizza each. Keaton showed up about a half an hour late but wasn't hungry. Jacob opened his gift and was so excited about all of them, even the cards. Wraelyn and Keaton made cards for him and those were his favorite. He was very polite and thanked them for the gifts. The kids played for a little while and then we had them come to the table to decorate their favor bags. We had a bunch of sparkle stickers that they had fun using those decorate with. They also took turns drawing with the marker. We then gave them some lego vehicles to build. They all had fun building those and then headed to the ramp to race them. We played pin the tail on the donkey and drop the clothes pins in the jar too. There were a bunch of blown up a bunch of balloons which we said the kids could sit on and pop. They had fun doing that. Then the kids wanted to go outside to see the goat/sheep. They took out carrots for them and also fed them some corn. Jacob and his friends played on the playground for awhile too. Jacob thanked his friends for coming and gave them their bags. It sure was a fun party! I enjoyed spending time with Jacob and his friends and also meeting their parents. We met Mom at Jared's work to pick up Eli. We sure missed him! At home Jared tilled the garden. It was such a warm day! We left the hose going so the boys could fill up their water guns. We all got wet and had fun with those. Well, except Eli, who was very tired! He cried when the boys squirted him. Jacob rolled up the excercise mat and said it was his scroll. He said he was a disciple, follower of Jesus. He had us read from his scroll. Adam had a scroll too but also said they were his "noculars".

What a great party! Happy birthday, Jacob!

I notice that your father's shirt matched the party table cloth. He fit right in with the party decorations, didn't he?
