Jacob was really excited about his soccer game today. He got dressed in his game gear and we headed into town for drinks and donuts. It was a very windy and chilly day. The game started at 11:00 but we were early and waited in the van for a little while. Jacob was getting some good laughs from Eli. It sure was fun watching Jacob play his first soccer game. He ran after the ball and kicked it many times. The field was wet and he wiped out a few times too. He was being goofy and having so much fun. Adam liked watching the game too and Eli was content in the stroller.  The coach gave the boys juice boxes and fruit roll ups after the game. Adam was happy that they gave him a snack too. The boys ate a packed lunch in the van. At 1:30 we had to be back so Jacob could get pictures taken with his team. Adam fell on the cement and scraped his face. We got home around 2:30. A couple pulled into our driveway before we were even in the house to ask if they could see the house. Jared showed them the outside area while I cleaned up the inside. Jacob was really helpful. Then I took the boys and Truman outside while they looked at the inside. The boys played in a puddle in the driveway. Adam fell flat on his face in the puddle. The boys found a worm to play with. After the couple left I tucked Eli in for a nap. The boys got out legos to play with and I did some exercises. Eli woke up around 5:30.  I was looking at Adam's scrap and said something like, "Wow, thats awesome." and Adam put his hands on his hips and said, “I’m mad about that.” After dinner we watched Land Before Time and had popcorn, pop, and ice cream. Jacob was worried he would be scared during the movie but after awhile he said, “This is turning out to be a pretty good movie.” Eli was funny with Daddy this evening. He would put a small plastic bowl up to Daddy’s mouth and Daddy would say, “Eli” in a loud tone. Then Eli would hold the bowl up to his own mouth and say something in the same tone.
