Easter 2011 (4-24-11)

Adam crawled into our bed around 7:30am. After awhile he went back to his bedroom to wake up Jacob. They were really excited to start finding the Easter eggs which Daddy had hidden last night. They had so much fun finding those. Norman took off with Eli's egg which was sitting on the stool for him to find. Then the boys searched for their Easter baskets. Adam found his in the loft bed in Eli's room and Jacob's was behind the bed in our room. Jared would have had a hard time finding his basket but he had help from the boys who knew where I hid it. Eli liked his egg and basket too. He got a matchbox car, yogurt malts, star puffs, and mini m&m’s in his basket. After church we came home and ate an early lunch. Then I tucked Eli in for a nap. The boys got out the legos to build with. Around 2:00 we headed to my parents house. My sisters and their families were there. The guys had hid Easter eggs in the yard and the kids were excited to go outside and look for those. It was a beautiful day outside. After all the eggs were found the kids sat in the grass to open their eggs to see what was in them. Back inside we hid the kids baskets from Nana and Papa. They took turns finding those and had lots of fun looking for them. Vikki and her family had to leave for a few hours. Mom, the Easter dinner was really yummy – Thank you! Chuck and Sue came over and then later this evening Wes and Galya stopped by. It was a nice day spending time with family and friends. The kids watched a movie from the Bible that Nana had got and they really enjoyed it. They also spent alot of time playing with the large foam blocks. This evening we went back outside for awhile. The kids ran around in the yard and played on the swingset until it was dark.

Pictures are OOOOOO so good. I love Adam's latest booboo. So much like his dad! Makes me laugh. Haley and Jacob have wonderful pictures. The lighting is so beautiful. What beautiful children!

I love those last two pictures of Hailey and Jacob. You'll have to send me the full size pictures of those ones so I can get them printed.
