Making paper airplanes |
After breakfast we watched Thomas train. Eli was holding the phone to his ear as he smiled at me. I called our home phone using my cell and talked to him. He liked that and smiled. He then decided to walk from the chair to the couch with the phone in his hand. Adam likes to tickle Eli’s back or belly by making sounds with his mouth on him. It was a very windy day outside. After tucking Eli in for his morning nap Adam and I went outside on the back deck to play for awhile. I rocked on Grandpa's glider and drank my warm coffee. Eli woke up around lunchtime. This afternoon I worked on cleaning the house. Adam helped me dust the furniture in our bedroom. I was cleaning the bathroom sink when I turned around because Eli was crying. He'd lifted the toilet lid and got his hand stuck under the lid. Adam got out the foam blocks play with. Eli loves the vacuum, especially when I suck his shirt or fingers with the hose. Eli and Adam watched a Baby Einstein and sat for a long time on the couch by each other. Jacob and Adam loved their after school ding dong snack. They made paper airplanes and built with foam blocks. Jacob mopped the kitchen floor and one of the bathrooms. Adam moped the other bathroom for me. Eli napped until dinnertime. The boys got postcards in the mail from Nana and Papa which they liked. Jacob enjoyed hearing about the shells and says he wants to start collecting them. I got a meatloaf in the oven and peeled potatoes. Adam played on the deck until dinner was ready. He pretended to cook for me using the frisbee’s for plates. After dinner we all went out on the deck. It still pretty windy out there and cold. The boys fixed us many meals. Their bug containers filled with dirt was the salt for our food. The boys sure enjoy making paper airplanes with Daddy’s airplane calendar papers.
