What a silly boy!

I stayed up late last night to do my morning exercises so I could sleep in this morning. The boys woke us around 7:30am. After breakfast we headed out for our Sat morning donuts. The boys were happy they got to go  in the donut shop with Daddy this morning. We drove around looking a few houses for sale and then went to Salvation army. Jared went into Meijer to get some oil and I took the boys for a drive by the “crashed cars” at the auto shop next door. It was a beautiful day outside. Jared walked our ditch to clear it out some. Jacob and Adam worked on their bridge in our ditch. I sat in the grass with Eli. He held onto a big rock and enjoyed being outside. He held my fingers and walked up and down the driveway. He refuses to walk on his own after those first steps the other day. Jacob and Adam walked to Nik’s house to invite him to come over but they didn’t hear Jacob's knock. Daddy went back with them and Nik’s parents said yes. The boys sure had fun playing together. They played in the ditch and also rode their bikes. I took Eli inside and fed him lunch before tucking him in for a nap. Jared put the battery in his scooter and took the boys for rides on it. They loved that! I had the boys come in for lunch. Then they got out the legos to play with. Nik loved the bouncy horse. He said, “your house is really cool!” His Dad came over to get him after awhile. We went outside and the boys played in the sandbox. Eli enjoyed being pushed in the swing. Daddy gave the boys another ride on the scooter. Around 5pm I tucked Eli in for a late nap. Adam, Jacob, and I played school and Jacob was the teacher. I was a bus driver and student. Daddy and the boys went outside until dinnertime. We woke Eli up for dinner. The boys really like playing with the clips from Uncle Rick. They hook them together and make all sorts of things. They also like to clip them on the backs of our shirts when we’re not looking. Eli was giving the dinosaur kisses in the book we were reading this evening. The boys got out the dress up clothes to play with and Eli kept putting the fireman hat on his head.

Adam is certainly a style-setter. Certainly he is. He is certainly inventive in figuring out how to wear his clothes.
