7/6/19

I had an eye dr appointment in Saginaw this morning at 10:30.  After the appointment we headed to the campground.  This was our first visit to this campground in Omer, MI.  After lunch we took a walk around the campground.  We then hung out in our hammocks and relax at the site.  Jared and I took a couple walks around the campground to work with Wyatt. Some people stopped to talk to us about Wyatt and a bunch of kids were having him do tricks.  They loved his bow.  We went for a swim before dinner.  Mom had burger, hot dogs, corn on the cob, baked beans, and potatoes for dinner.  It was so good!!  After dinner we took a walk with Dad around the campground.  Then Mom and I took a bike ride.  We headed to Standish campground so we could watch the firework display.  Got there early so took a walk.  We enjoyed the fireworks but Wyatt did not.  He tucked his tail and hid behind our chairs.  He laid down and was ok after awhile.

Jared took apart our wii and cleaned it.  He put it back together and now it works!

7/4/19

Its was warm this morning so we worked with the sheep in the barn.  The boys have set up a little obstacle coarse in there and we have a large mirror they can use to set up their sheep in front of.  Jared, Adam and Eli went to TSC and stopped to order some round bales.  Nik came over while they were gone to say goodbye.  The other boys were sad they missed seeing him.  He brought some nerf disk darts for Adam.  He will be back again next summer.  Adam and I played chess.  After lunch went for a drive.  Drove by the school and looked at the remodel.  Stopped at McDonalds for ice cream.  Back at home we went for a swim to cool down.  Adam and Daddy played chess before dinner.  I went into town to get some groceries for camping and picked up a new sleeping bag for Adam.  Unloaded the camping trailer because Jared is taking it to get weighed tomorrow.  This evening the boys had fun doing sparklers, pop its, and smoke bombs. Wyatt followed a lightning bug. 

7/3/19

The boys woke up around 8:30,  I made pancakes for breakfast.  Jacob told Nik, "You should try my Grandma's pancakes, they're the best!"  After breakfast the boys started a game of risk which lasted for 3 hrs.  Nik had to go home for lunch and to pack up some things from his house to take to TX.  Nik came back and they played in the pool.   Then they came inside to play with legos.  After awhile they got out the chess and took turns playing Nik.  They also played risk on their iPads.  Nik had to go home at dinnertime.  We ate dinner on the deck.  After dinner Adam and Eli went swimming.  Jared and I got out the camping trailer and and washed it.  The boys worked with their sheep and then we took a walk in the woods with Jacob.  

7/2/19

Adam and I played a game of 3-13 this morning.  I won with -98  

Eli helped me make chocolate chip cookies this morning.  Then Adam and I played 3-13.  Nik came over after lunch.  We set up the house for a nerf battle.  After a couple hours of that the boys went out to play in the pool.  They played until just before Jared got home from work.  Jared had a meeting so got home a little late.  Jacob and Nik were played in the hallway by the bathroom and Jacob ended up falling into the wall.  He put a huge dent and a hole in the wall.  The boys and Nik played some chess.  Then we had another nerf battle until it was time for Jared to go to the park meeting at 7:00.  The boys went with Jared so they could play at the park.  I stayed home and cleaned up the nerf mess.  I also worked on fixing the wall in the hallway.  Jared had picked up pizza's and breadsticks for dinner.  He also had picked out a couple movies to watch from Family video.  I guess we haven't been there since 2004.  After the movies were over Jared and I went to bed.  I saw flashes of green on the wall by the ceiling and I didn't know what it was.  Jared saw them too so he turned on the light and it was a lightening bug.  The boys had a sleep out in the living room and watched tv until late.

The boys woke up early this morning.  They were all up when Jared left for work.  They watched tv and ate breakfast.  After working with sheep they came inside and played catch with Wyatt's tennis ball.  They played played until lunchtime.  After lunch we went swimming.  Then Adam and I played a game of stratego and I won.  Jacob and I started a game of 3-13 until there was a knock at our door.  I told Jacob to go answer the door.  I knew who was coming over but the boys didn't.  It was Nik!!  The boys were really surprised and super excited!!!  They took him around the house and showed him all the bedroom changes we've done.  They drank some steward pops and talked for a long time in Jacob's room.  Jared came home early and we worked on the loom rug.  Nik and the boys then went swimming.  They played in the pool until Nik's mom came to pick him up.  We ate dinner on the back deck.  After dinner the boys worked with their sheep.  Then we took a walk in the woods.

6/30/19

We overslept this morning so had to hurry to get ready for church.  After church we got groceries and pizza.  After lunch the we went for a swim.  Had fun played with some new bouncy balls in the pool. The boys worked with their sheep after swimming.  Then it was time for popcorn pop and ice cream.  We watched the lego batman movie.  The boys worked with their sheep again.  Then we went for a walk in the woods.  Wyatt found a baby Warbling vireo bird.  We fed it a couple worms.  Then took it back into the woods and set it on a tree.  Its parent came to the tree we put it in.  The baby bird was chirping loudly.  Eli named him "Chirp."
