Day 7

The boys were up just after 7am. They rode bikes into town because they wanted to say hi to Curt before he left on the boat to Isle royal. The boat left at 8am but they didnt get to see Curt because they went to the wrong place. They still saw the boat leave from the marina. Adam didnt stay until the boat left. He got a cold frappuccino and came back. Grandma made pancakes for breakfast and the neighbor gave us a bottle of his real maple syrup!  Yummy!  We took a walk around the campground. Adam went for a long walk and then relaxed in the hammock. Jacob and Eli loved going through Grandpa’s buckets of copper. Much of it is coming home with us and they are very happy about that. We played skipbo with Adam. We taught Grandma how to play and she played on a team with Adam. Adam found a stack of firewood. After lunch we took a drive to Great sand bay. It was nice and cool on the beach. There is so much sand there now. We then drove up the road to see Jacob’s falls. Jacob climbed up and got some nice pictures and a video. The other two boys didnt have good shoes for climbing. I read as we drove. We stopped for pops on the way back to camp. Back at camp Jared and I played 3-13. Then we played skipbo with Jacob and Adam. We also played a couple games with Grandma. Eli fell asleep in the tent. After a late dinner we did dishes and took a walk. Grandma Jared and the boys played a couple games of skipbo. Eli and I took bikes over to pebble beach and looked for agates. It looked like rain out on the lake. We sat by the fire. It started thundering and lightening. Went to bed at 10:30.
