Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  I went to the post office to pick up Jacob's clarinet and music stand that we ordered.  It was used off Facebook marketplace.  He doesn't want to use his good clarinet  for marching band and really wanted a plastic one.  We found a nice Yamaha and ordered it.  Jacob tried it right away and it works perfectly.  I thought something would need fixed on it.  It was only $50 for that and the stand.  Eli really liked the stand so he got that.   Adam mowed the lawn and we worked on things in the yard.  Jacob did some weedwacking.  Jared took down a large dead ash tree that was by the pond.  It had three large trunks.  The first tree came down on the fence and pushed the t-post far into the ground.  The second tree came down on the fence between the t-posts.  The last tree we thought might go in the pond so we talked about waiting but decided to try downing it towards the tree.  We thought it might get hung up in some small aspen trees.  I told Jared that maybe we should just take down the aspen tree before it got hung up in it.  He said he really liked the tree and thought it would just brush it but not get hung up.  That tree came down and uprooted the tree Jared liked so much and broke another tree about halfway up.  We got a good laugh about it because Jared was being funny about his last minute decision to take it out.  It was really funny.  We spent a few hours cleaning up the trees.  I started a fire so we could burn all the branches.  Jacob saw a hole in the tree and was poking a stick in it.  Later we found out that in that hole are baby yellow bellied sapsuckers.  We came inside and ate a late lunch.  A little while later we went to Culvers to get concrete mixers.  At home Jared and I sat on the swing and called Grandma and Grandpa.  We sat outside for a long time and took a walk in the woods.  Eli came out to site by the swing with us.  It started raining but didn't last too long. A little while later it got really windy and downpoured.  It came down so hard it broke our biggest hibiscus branch.  Bummer!
