7/26/21 (Day 11)

Wake up Eli!

Grandma came over this morning and played a game of 3-13. Jared won. We were all pretty close. I woke up Jacob and Eli and we went to Grandma's for pancakes. We wished Grandpa a happy birthday and gave him some cards. Then we took our morning walk around the campground. I went out on the kayaks with Jacob and Eli. They fished on the other side of the lake.  Just before 11:00 we headed to Bumbletown to visit Dennis and Leslie. Grandma and Grandpa arrived just after we did. We visited out on the deck. Eli walked to the back of the property to pick some berries. He was happy. Wyatt ran around in the yard chasing a tennis ball. Leslie grilled hotogs for lunch and had lots of other good things to eat. She also made us root beer floats!  The boys didnt remember having them before. It had been a long time since I had one. We helped Leslie sent up her floor loom. We had a really nice time. We took a short walk up the road the see the beautiful view before leaving. We went to Calumet for gas before heading back to camp. Jared and I played a game of 3-13 and I won. The boys rode bikes around the campground. Jacob walked into town to look for some fishing string but they didnt have any. I hear a loud crash and I said, “wow that sounded bad!”  Several minutes later Adam came limping into camp with his bike. He crashed going down the hill when his foot got caught in the spokes. The rim is bent and several spokes are broken. Jacob and I took a bike ride on the trail by the road. After dinner we took our evening walk and then we played the Kubb game with the boys. Jared, Eli and I vs Jacob and Adam. We won the first game pretty quickly when they knocked down the king. Then they won the second game. We sat by the fire. It was really windy and Grandma was cold. She bundled up with some blankets. Eli took a hard fall out of his hammock and we all laughed.  It's one of many falls out of that hammock. Grandma gave Adam her quarters to look through because he is trying to collect all the states. It started sprinkling so we went to bed a little early.

Ouch! Poor Adam and poor Adam's bike. Grandma and grandpa are looking shorter each year for some reason.
