The boys stayed up late and helped me with packing. At around 2:30 I went in to go to bed and Jared was up and getting ready to leave. We were on the road heading north around 3:30. Eli and I slept most of the way to the bridge. Adam and Jacob stayed awake. We crossed the bridge around 6:30. Stopped at the gas station and got out to stretch. We ate poptarts for breakfast. The boys watch Tom & Jerry and then a movie, Last Ounce of Courage. We stopped at the Hilltop restaurant in L'Anse around 11:00. Only the bakery was open because of a problem with their kitchen's exhaust. We were still able to sit and get drinks and sweet rolls. We stopped in Houghten for a quick trip into Walmart and stopped for gas in Calumet. In Kearsarge we got out to climb the stone boat. We arrived in Copper Harbor at around 1:45. Took a drive through the campground and then went to check in. We spent the next couple hours setting up camp. Jacob rode his bike over to Pebble beach and found some nice little rocks. We took the kayaks over to the beach and the boys kayaked in the harbor and near the shore as we walked the trail. We found some blueberries but they were tiny. Back at camp we had sandwiches for dinner. Jared and I played 3-13 and Jared won. It came down to whoever went out in the A’s round. We took a walk around the campground with Eli on rollerblades. We were tired so went to bed early. Daddy started reading to us from the first Watcher's book.
