7/19/21 (Day 4)

Great Sand Bay

The cold Superior water triggered Jacob's Raynaud syndrome in his hands and feet.

Pebble beach

I woke the boys around 7:00. Eli went right into his hammock to read his book. Adam went for a long walk around the campground. Daddy Jacob and I played a game of 3-13. Jacob won. We went for our morning walk and found some wood. Adam carried it back to camp for us. It was a windy day so the boys wanted to go to Great sand bay to play in the waves. The beach is back to a sandy beach instead of rocks. The boys had fun playing in the sand by the stream and in the waves.  We got back to camp around 2pm. I read from the Watcher's book as we drove. Adam and Jacob went for a walk. Adam walked to town to visit the Laughing Loon store. We took a walk with Eli to visit the fort store. We meet Jacob on our walk there and he came with us. He showed me a Copper Harbor sweatshirt he really liked and tried it on. We bought a flyswatter because we lost ours while moving campsites. Jacob took a bike ride into town to go to  the Laughing loon store. He bought some cool nature bookmarks and a couple little polished agates. After dinner and our evening walk we went over to Pebble Beach. Adam went for a walk along the beach on the big rocks. Jacob Eli and I found some small agates.  It was nice and cool on the beach but the flies started biting. Jacob and Eli decided they wanted to go in together and buy an agate book from the fort store. They went to the store but it was closed early due to staff shortage. Back at camp we sat by the fire and Daddy read the Watcher's book.
