12 years old!
Controlling the cake cutter
Jared and I were up around 6:00. Jacob was already awake in his bed and said he'd been awake since 5am. Adam got up and they woke up Eli. Jacob organized his birthday presents smallest to biggest and then was ready to open them. He got a fidget spinner, candy, gum, a nerf tactical light and darts, gel pens, a mega blaster, and a couple ninjago lego sets. He also got his own 6 pack of his favorite minute maid lemonade. Jacob didnt want to eat breakfast so we all had fun shooting his new nerf blaster. Then he put together the small golden ninja set. We took the boys to school and then headed to Tim Hortons with the birthday boy. The boys have a half day today and we let Jacob stay home. Jacob got three of his favorite chocolate glazed donuts and we got coffee's. Back at home Jacob worked on building his Lego Ninjago set. Then he and Daddy played Tanki on the computer. Adam and Eli got home from school around noon. After lunch we took a walk in the woods. Then the boys played a game on the computer. Jacob and I played chess. We made some cupcakes for the birthday party at Nana's campground tomorrow. Jared and Adam headed into town to get pizza and bread sticks for dinner. Jacob, Eli and I did some drawing with the new gel pens and then hung out on the deck with the cats. This evening the boys got out their cots and we watched Clone Wars. After tucking the boys in bed we watched I Love Lucy. Jacob got to stay up a little later and lay on the couch with the kitty. It was a great day celebrating with our 12 year old!
