Today Jared took the day off work and we went on a field trip with the 4th graders.

We got to hang out with Adam at Greenfield village which was very interesting and super fun!

Nana picked up the boys from school and they had so much fun!  Thank you Nana!!

Last night we moved Sophie and her kitten's cage outside.  This morning Adam came running in the house with a lifeless kitten.  It had rained during the night so the kitten was in a puddle of cold water for hours.  We felt really horrible!  Jared had the kitten on the counter and was trying to rub it in the towel but it was gone.  Adam woke his brothers up crying and telling them that the kitten had died.  We had some very sad boys!  Jacob and Eli went to the kitchen to look at the dead kitty in the towel.  Eli said, "I saw her mouth move!" and Jacob agreed.  I went to look and sure enough she was barely alive.  The boys quickly got the rice warmers heated.  I got some water heated up and gave her a hot bath.  Then Jared turned on the oven and we blow dried her in front of it.  Soon we had to leave because Adam had to be to school early for his field trip.  When we left the kitty was doing good and was even nursing!  The boys got the kitty out when we got home and she was chasing Adam down the hallway.  This kitty has used up a few of her lives!
