Day 13

Truman's rock

At Bete Grise

On Brockway Mt

We were up at 6:30 this morning.  Grandma and Grandpa came to sit with us and visit.  Grandma wanted Eli to sit on her lap but he was being shy.  Daddy set him on her lap so we could get a picture.  Then he didn't want to get off. She was drawing on his back which he loved.  Adam woke up just after 9:00.  We usually cut up Eli's pancakes but this morning he wanted to do it for himself. We took several walks around the campground.  The boys played games and then they went for a scooter ride.  Then Daddy and the boys played Uno.  Adam read a book in the tent and we relaxed in our hammocks.  Eli came in my hammock and Jacob went in with Daddy.  After lunch we headed to Bete Grise beach.  It was a warm day today and the water was nice.  The boys loved how far out they could go in the shallow water.  They had so much fun.  Jacob and Daddy played frisbee for a long time.  Adam play some too.  Eli pretended his life jacket was a boat.  He hooked the shovel to the strap to use as an anchor. We saw a couple bald eagles fly over the lake.  We headed back to camp and decided to take a drive up Brockway mountain.  Then we stopped to see Leslie at the shop.  We got pops on our way back to camp.  Eli's sore legs were bothering him so he rested in the chair.  Jacob and Adam played a game.  After dinner we took our evening walk.  Dennis and Marsha's kids and grandkids arrived today.  The kids had fun on their scooters.  Kevin and Adam raced scooters around the campground and Adam won.  Then the kids were racing him on their scooters while he ran and they couldn't beat him.  We walked with Grandma and Grandpa over to Pebble beach so Jacob could fish.  He tried using a lure but it got caught in a tree across the stream and then got caught on a log in the water.  Adam was going to get it but then got scared thinking that the big fish were going to bite him.  We didn't get to have a fire tonight because it was already 10:00 when we got back to camp. The kids ate raw s'mores.

Truman's rock is impressive. And you pulled it all the way back to camp!

Raw s'mores! ? ! Is that like eating sushi? Or steak tartare?

This time I had to check FOUR pictures instead of just three to prove I am not a robot.
