Day 15

Jacob's looking bummed because its our last full day

Jared and I overslept until around 7:30.  Grandpa came over and said, "Good afternoon!"  Haha!  The boys got donuts and hot chocolate from the campground host.  We are all bummed that today is our last day!  After breakfast we took our morning walk.  Then we started to do some packing in the trailer and the tent.  Adam and Eli played at an empty site.  Adam found a wheel chock that someone had left at their site.  Leslie brought us some flower that we can take home to plant!  After lunch we headed to Bete Grise.  The water was freezing cold today!  Kristen and her kids came there to play too. The kids had a lot of fun and even played in the cold water!  They made Daddy dive in twice (because I missed the first dive).  From there we headed to the shop to see Dennis and Leslie and helped load some bricks in their trailer.  Then we visited for awhile.  Grandma and Grandpa were there too.  Leslie brought out Butters and the boys were happy to see him.  I walked with Adam and Eli to the big chair.  They liked me trying to tag them while they were up there.   Leslie gave the boys some cardboard pieces.   Adam and Eli had fun playing with those and some rocks.  We stopped for pops on our way back to camp. The boys played with the cardboard and their army men for awhile.  Then they played around an empty site until dinner was ready.  After dinner we took our walk around the campground.  Grandma was riding the scooter.  Dennis and Marsha invited the boys down to their site for ice cream.  Then the boys took some bike rides.  Jacob has learned how to ride his bike with no hands.  We did some packing and took down the dining fly.  Then we took a walk over to the fort and to Pebble beach.  Jacob floated his boat made from aluminum foil.  We did some more packing and then say by the fire with Grandma and Grandpa.  Got to bed around 11:00.

Yes, the last full day is a sad time -- but you seemed to celebrate all the good times with some good pictures today! I love the one with Kimmy and her three youngest boys. That is a great shot!
