Eli on our new mattress
Hiking at Hunter's point
The boys wanted to pose for some pictures
As we hiked back in this area near the point Jared and I found the rock we wanted to bring home for Truman's grave.
Norman climbed up here on his own.
Posing with Norman
With Leslie and Butter's
We slept until 6:45. Our new mattress is a double high and it's really nice. Jacob and Adam laid on it for a while after they woke up. Eli woke up around 8:30 and he tried out the new bed too. Grandma and Grandpa came to sit with us this morning and Grandpa showed us a picture of an aspen tree that a beaver dropped right by the steps at Pebble Beach. After our morning walk we went to the east campground and did some laundry. We walked around that campground and then used their nice showers while we were there. The boys went to the fort store to get pops from the machine. Then before we left Jacob went to the store to surprise his brothers with orange push-ups. After lunch we headed to Hunters point. We hiked to the beach and it was really warm. We could see a storm in the distance and suddenly it felt about 20 degrees cooler. Then there was a pretty fog out on the lake. We had fun looking for agates. Then we continued hiking to point. On the way we found a huge rock that we really wanted to bring home for Truman's grave. It was so heavy. We found a large root to put the rock on and together carried it up to the trail. We left it there while we hiked on to the point. The boys had fun playing on the rocks. On the hike back Adam carried a large rock he wanted to keep. Jared and I hauled Truman's rock back but had to stop several times. It was so heavy! We stopped to visit Leslie on our way back to camp. She let us search for comics from her papers for the boys to read. They read those while we visited. Jacob fed the squirrel from his hand again. After dinner we took a walk and the boys played a game on their scooters. Then we walked over to Pebble beach. Jacob did some fishing and I saw a huge fish. As we were leaving Jared talked to a fisherman who said this stream and the far side of Lake Fanny Hooe are great places to fish. He thinks we need to try coming here little later. We sat by the fire this evening with Grandma and Grandpa and the boys read comics using Grandma's flashlights. After s'mores we got ready for bed. Adam wanted to surprise Daddy again with putting away the camp kitchen and cooler. We got to bed around 10:30.

Wow your mattress looks very nice and looks comfortable too. Had to be hard work hauling that big rock for Truman. It sure is a nice one though.
Oh, love your family picture too! It is so nice of all of you!
Yes, the mattress looks really nice and comfortable. I don't think you can say that camping is the same as "roughing it."
The pictures of the boys posing are all good. They do have a good time, don't they? Every picture on this trip shows how much bigger they are. Jacob looks like a teen-ager to me.
