Adam using his bowl and mug
We were up just before 7am. The boys ate Grandma's pancakes while we packed the camper. Jacob and Adam took a walk around the campground. I took the boys over to Lake Fanny Hooe while Jared ate his pancakes. Grandma brought over some rocks for Jacob to skip. We were on the road shortly before 9am. We said our goodbyes to Fort Wilkens, Dennis and Leslie's, Copper Harbor and the tunnels as we left them. After awhile Eii fell saleep and slept until lunchtime. For lunch I went in the grogery store and got snacks, stuff for sandwiches and drinks. We ate in the van as we drove. Adam made a potty stop by a tree on the side of the road. We got to the Mackinaw bridge around 3pm. We always video tape as we go over the bridge. Daddy took the camera and said, 'Boys, you wanna watch me freek Mommy out." He stuck the video camera out the window and taped the metal grate road in the next lane. The boys thought this was so funny! We got out to stretch and walked by Lake Huron. Eli saw the lighthouse and said, "Hey, there's the kings castle!" The boys walked in the lake and saw lots of minnows. We made it home around 6pm. We finished reading Charlotte's Web on our drive home. Truman was happy to see us and all the other animals are doing well.
