Adam taught Eli how to cast and he loved it

Jacob crawled in our bed this morning and said, "Happy anniversary!" Today Jared and I celebrate our 10th anniversary. Jared took the day off work so we could spend  it together. We planned to spend the day fishing. Jacob was so excited he had a hard time getting to sleep last night. We stopped at Tim Horton's for coffee on our way to the park. The lake at this park had a lot of seaweed so it was hard to fish in it. We decided to go a place known as "Turtle Ponds". We stayed for a few hours and ate a packed lunch. We didn't catch any fish here but still had lots of fun. The boys had the most fun swimming in the water. We then headed over to fish in Sanford Lake. Daddy caught three fish and the boys were excited about them. We stopped at McDonalds for ice cream on our way home.  Got home around 5pm. Daddy went to town to get our dinner from Pi's. I made pizza for the boys. It poured this evening. We watched the movie, Joseph: King of Dreams. After the boys were in bed Jared and I watched Andy Griffith and 24.

This evening we went to a picnic at the boys school. The boys also got to meet their teachers and see their classrooms. Jacob's third grade teacher is Mr Henderson. Mr Henderson was a student teacher in Jacob's second grade classroom.  Jacob really liked him and often says, "Mr Henderson is the best math teacher!" We had requested another teacher per Josh's (school psychologist) recommendation but she has now been moved to a Title 1 position. We are happy to have Mr Henderson and so is Jacob. He was very disappointed to find out that he has the same locker buddie as last year. This boy really bullied Jacob with their locker. (Jared has emailed Jacob's teacher and Jacob will have a new locker buddie. Jacob has enough to deal with and doesn't need any added anxiety.) Adam's teacher is Mrs Douglas. We got to talk to her for awhile and we really like her too. The boys found some friends and had fun playing with them on the playground.

We spent a couple hours in the pool this morning. It started raining so we decided to take down the tent before it rained harder. We got soaked! Thank you Vikki and Mom for all your help! Got home around 4pm.

Aunt Missy and her family left today but Jack got to stay with us:)
