9-2-11
Jared and I woke up a little late this morning. I started my exercises and Jared got ready for work. The boys were up shortly after 8:00. Around 10:30 we headed to Jacob’s school to drop off some supplies but they were closed. Then we headed to the store for groceries. The boys took turns riding with Eli in the car as I pushed the cart. They were so helpful and we had a good time. I surprised them with some m&m’s. They ate a packed lunch on the way to the Dr’s office. Eli had an appointment to have his sutures removed. The boys plugged their ears when he cried really loud, though they did enjoy watching the procedure. Eli also cried hard as they fitted his thumb for a splint. From there we headed up to the hospital to visit with Vikki. She went in the hospital last night with very strong contractions. They said she was dilated to 3 and 100% effaced (she’s almost 29 weeks). Also Peyton’s head is all the way down. The doctor said Vikki will most likely have to be in the hospital for the rest of her pregnancy. Eli was very tired so I tucked him in his peapod for a nap. The boys played for a long time with silly puddy in the window. Kenzie took them for a walk to the tunnel which leads from one hospital to the other. They could see our window and we waved at each other. Eli waved at them too. Jared came to the hospital from work. I got to go with Vikki to for her ultrasound with the specialist. Eli was awake when we got back. Jacob and Eli took turns sitting on the bed with Aunt Bippi. We left around 6:30. The boys went home with Daddy and I stopped at the store to pick up my cold grocery items. Daddy had the boys fed but he and I ate a late dinner when I got back. The boys watched Fireman Sam until bedtime.
