Jack was up first this morning. Adam came out and saw him on the couch and said, “Hi there Jack” in a really sweet voice. Jack said, “You wanna sit on the couch?” Adam gave Jack a hug and Jack said, “He gave me hug!” As we walked into Adam’s school I held Jack and Eli's hands. Adam held Jack's other hand. Eli then let go of my hand and wanted to hold Jack's hand. We watched Mighty Machines while I gave Jack a haircut. Then we went outside to play in the sandbox until lunchtime. Jack liked seeing Adam get off the bus. Jack and Eli napped until it was time to get Jacob. Adam and I watched Mighty Machines. Then Adam played with moon sand. Eli has over 30 mosquito bites. When Jacob saw them he said, “I wanna be a mosquito control drive. I'll have a big trailer what shoots out lots of mosquito spray and even has a big blaster.”Jacob walked over to Nik’s house to see if Nik could come play. The boys had a great time playing in the sand. We also played some baseball. Nik's Dad came over and he had to leave. We raked a huge pile of leave that the boys had fun playing in until dinnertime. The boys took bath's this evening and Abby (Mel’s dog) kept trying to get in the tub.
The thunderstorm woke Jacob up this morning and then he woke Adam. Jared said it was so hard he could'nt even see road on his drive to work. Later this morning we went outside. It was only sprinkling. I brought out our umbrellas but Eli didn't want to hold his. He did like standing under mine with me. Mostly he loved playing in the puddle. Then he saw Jo (our cat) and wanted to hold her. We came inside and Eli played in the tub until lunchtime. Adam said they had inside recess today and got to play in the dark with flashlights. He said they also played duck duck goose and red light green light. We watched Mighty Machines. Then Adam wanted to look at his Baby picture books with me. After school Jacob went over to Nik's house. Carly was at Nik's house too. Adam, Eli, and I played outside. Megan (Nik's sister) and Mackenzie (Carly's sister) came over for awhile. Jacob and his friends came back to show us the frog's they'd found. They had fun playing in the sandbox and in the hay loft. After dinner we went back outside and played some soccer with the boys.
This afternoon we went to Vikki's house. Kenzie watched the boys while we went to the hospital to visit Peyton and Isaac. They can only have visitors (besides parents and grandparents) on weekends. I got to change Isaac's diaper and take his temperature. Then I got to hold him! He was wide awake for awhile. Peyton looked so cute as she slept. Then Jared and I waited in the waiting room while Omi and Papi came to meet their new grandbabies. This evening, back at home, we watched Spy Kids and had popcorn, pop, and ice cream.
We had to be at the soccer club at 8:40 so Jacob could get pictures taken. Jared dropped us off there and then he went on to get donuts and coffees. Jacob had a soccer game at 10:00. We headed to Vikki's house after the game. Rody was there and gave me a new phone - thanks Rody. The boys played in the yard until Vikki got there. Mom and Aunt Vikki (my mom's best friend) had gone with her up to the hospital to see Peyton and Isaac. Kenzie watched the boys while we went with Vikki back to the hospital. We weren't able to visit them last week because the boys had colds. And Jared's poison ivy is cleared up so he got to meet them for the first time. Now we can cradle them and touch them all we want. I got to change Peytons diaper and take her temperature. Then I got to hold her for about 2 hrs! She's so tiny and sweet. Vikki held Isaac. Jared took lots of really nice pictures. Isaac is up to 3lbs 2oz and Peyton is at 3lbs 4 oz. Isaac has such cute dimples when he smiles. We got back around 4:30. We stopped at Kroger for groceries before going home. This evening the boys were really into looking at their baby books and baby pictures. They also liked seeing little hats and outfits they worn when they were born.
