Jacob and I had some cuddle time this morning before Adam and Eli were up. After breakfast the boys watched Thomas train. It was a cool, rainy morning. I love this weather. The boys got out the foam blocks to play with. They were making rockets to blast off into space. The boys loved the shapes mac-n-cheese we had for lunch. Eli woke up around 1pm and ate a late lunch. Around 2:00 we headed to college where we met Vikki and Kenzie. The boys were really excited to be going swimming. Eli clung to me when I held him in the water. He was much more relaxed when I turned him to face the water. Jacob and Adam were all over the pool. They are getting good at using their arms and legs to swim with their floaties on. Eli gets really excited when Kenzie sticks out her tongue at him and screams. He sticks his tongue out back at her. Eli was nervous when we set him down in the shallow water. Vikki and I sat by him and Jacob gave him a ball to play with. He soon got used to it and was having fun. Kenzie talked me into going down the water slide which was really fun. After almost 4hrs we headed to meet Jared at Fazoli's for dinner. Adam walked up to the counter by himself to ask for breadsticks and came back with a tray of 6 breadsticks. We stopped at Home Depot for a few things. Eli was so tired and fell asleep on the drive home. It was 8:30 when we got home.

We spent the day at Vikki's house and got home around 3:30. Our sand for the sandbox was delivered today. The boys thougth it was cool to watch the dump truck from up in their fort. All three boys had a great time playing in the new sand.

I went to my sister Vikki's twin's ultrasounds this morning. That was really neat to see and I'm so happy I got to go. Baby A was kicking Baby B. We knew that Baby B was a boy but also found out that Baby A is a girl. The boys stayed with Kenzie and Nana. They said they had fun on the slip n slide. This evening the boys played in the sand box. Kenzie spent the night.

After church we headed to the Bavarian parade which I've went to since I was very young. I got a horrible headache and started to feel really nauseaos on the drive there. Its a good thing I had a plastic bag because I got sick as we were driving. We had to stop a McDonalds a couple times. My parents got me some pepto bismo to take. Not too long after taking that I started to feel better. The boys really enjoyed the parade. Even Eli was waving and clapping. Adam was trying to get the semi drivers to honk their horns. Jacob was dancing to the music. The boys seeing the cool tractors. After the parade was over we headed to Aunt Debbies house. The boys and Daddy went swimming in the pool. Eli didn't stay in for long. He cuddled with us outside in the chairs. I didn't think he was going to stay awake so I went inside to get him something to eat. After feeding him I tucked him in for a nap. It was a beautiful day outside. Though the boys were sure shivvering when they got out of the pool to eat. Soon after eating they wanted to go back in the pool. Eli slept until I woke him to leave around 6:30. Jared worked on racking up the grass with the tractor. The boys took turns sitting on his lap for that. They also played in the sandbox. They were hungry so we made sandwiches.

boys in their ambulance |
Today was Jacob's last soccer game for the season. We got there early so he could kick the ball around with Daddy. Soon Royce was there and ran out to play with them. They passed the ball to each other for awhile. Then the boys tried scoring goals on Jared. After a while several others from Jacob's team came and Jared had to work hard to try and keep them from scoring. Jacob did really well for his last game even though his back was hurting. He took a hard fall on the slide the other day right onto his back. After the game the coach gave all the boys trophys which had their names ingraved on them. Then there was a pizza party. From there we went to Target so Jacob could buy something with his birthday money. He knew he wanted legos but had a hard time deciding which set(s) to get. He was really excited about the sets he chose. I got my first lego set too - the log cabin creator. At home I tucked Eli in for a nap. Adam and I worked on the log cabin while Daddy and Jacob worked on building the Red Super Speedster. Then Jared went outside to mow the lawn. Jacob and I then put together his other set. I just helped him find pieces for each step. After dinner we headed to my parents house so Dad and Jared could change the brake pads on the car. The boys played on the swings/slide/sandbox. Eli is getting more used to walking in the grass, usually he wants to stay right by me or wants to be held. The boys, Papa, Daddy, and I played a fun game of baseball. Nana built a fire and we sat by it on the swings. We got home around 10pm.
