Grandpa and Jacob Wii bowling

Mommy's Little Prince

New outfit from Aunt Vikki, Uncle Rody, and Kenzie

-Thank-you Mel for taking most of these great pictures!

Jacob came into our bedroom just after 7am to wake us. Eli didn’t sleep well last night. Just after we got into bed he woke up crying. Earlier that day he had many vaccinations so we gave him some tylenol hoping it would help. This morning Eli reach for Grandma as soon as he saw her. After breakfast Grandma, Grandpa, Jacob and Daddy played Wii bowling. Then Jacob and Adam made a blanket tent to play in with the headlamps. Lately their tents are always made around the dogs kennel. Eli loves to crawl in the dog kennel and shut the door. He also loves to crawl under the blankets of his brothers tents. Wii Sports was played until lunchtime. I fed Eli an early lunch and then tucked him in for a nap. He only slept until around 1:30 and was still acting sleepy. I changed him and tucked him back in to see if he'd go back to sleep (he didn't). After lunch Daddy showed Grandma how to play Mario Kart on the Wii. Guest arrived for Eli’s birthday party between 2:30 and 3pm. Aunt Vikki and family, Aunt Missy and family, Grandma and Grandpa, and Nana and Papa were here to celebrate with us today. We had a nice time visiting and snacking for the first hour.  Then Eli got to open his presents. Thank you all for all the nice gifts. He's really gonna have fun with his new toys. And I'm gonna have fun dressing him in his new clothes:) He also loved the musical Tigger card. He got a new hat that I put on and he took off many times. After present we put Eli in his high chair and sang Happy Birthday to him. I loved his expression as he looked at the lit candle. Adam always ends the birthday song in “and any(many) mooore.” Eli needed help blowing out his candle but he had lots of little helpers for that. He wasn’t to sure about the cake and was happier with a spoon. Jack came over to help. It took a little while before Eli decided to throw the spoon and play with the cake.  He threw some on the floor and then grabbed handfuls to fill up his highchair cupholder. The kids did some Wii bowling. I put Eli in one of his new outfits and he looked so cute. He was so sleepy. Kenzie lay on our bed with him for awhile. I gave my sister Vikki one of her PIO (for ivf) shots this evening. Adam was really interested in watching that. We made sloppy jo’s for dinner. Grandma and Jacob played some Wii bowling until bedtime. Grandma read with the boys at bedtime.
