Jacob's game
Adam's game
Adam's team wanted a picture together after this game
Eli's game
Jared left around 7:30 to go get our Sat goodies. We had to be to the soccer field at 9:30 because Adam refereed at 10:00. After dropping him off we went to Dunhams to get Eli some new shin guards. We also stopped at Walmart and the Halloween store to see if Eli could find a costume that he liked. He really wanted to go as a ranch bottle but that costume was sold out everywhere. So he is just going to go as a soccer player. Adam's feet were soaked and cold so Jacob gave him a pair of his new thermal wool socks. Adam had to be to his soccer game at 11:15 for his noon game. We are playing an undefeated team that is really tough. Our team played so well and it was a very tense game. Both coaches got yellow cards. Pastor Scott was unhappy about a bad call but he apologized to the team for getting the yellow card. In the first half Adam scored on a penalty shot from almost the halfway. It was an amazing shot and his team was so happy. The field was soaking wet with standing water all over. It rained for most of the game. Jacob refereed at 11:30. Jacob was assigned to center ref three games today but he didn't feel ready for that so he didn't accept those games. He also didn't want the added stress with all the homework he's had. His boss thinks he's ready so he is going to assign him to center ref a U8 team next week and he will be there to mentor Jacob. After Adam's game we went to the van and someone said his daughter, who has her permit, just hit our van. It did some minor damage that he wanted to pay for. He gave us his buisness card but we aren't going to have it fixed. Eli was sitting in the van when it happened. Jared took Eli to his game so he could warm up with his team. I took Jacob to TSC to get some more wool socks because his socks were soaked. With his Raynaud's condition his feet and hand need to stay warm or they get painful. He also used hand/feet warmers which helped alot. I made it back in time for Eli's 2:00 game. Eli played center defense against a tough team. His team lost but they played hard. Jared and I were happy to have waterproof boot to keep our feet dry. We also sat under the sunbrella which kept us dry. Adam refereed for Pastor's Scott's daughters team at 2:30. Jacob's game was at 4:00 and Adam refereed again at 4:00. Jacob's team ended in a 6-6 tie because in the last few seconds of the game we headed the ball into the other teams goal. We had made dinner when we got home and watched tv. Then we played bedwars with the boys.

What a busy soccer day. Sure wish I could have seen Adam score on that penalty shot from that far. WOW!
Nice that Jacob's boss thinks he ready to center ref. Glad Eli was ok when your van got hit with him in it.
