This afternoon we worked on building a little deck for our pool. We were able to use a lot of boards we already had. Adam and Eli went swimming. Nik's family came over and asked me to look at their dog (an old cocker spaniel) who was just attacked by Megan's pitbull. They were also bit by the dog when they tried to separate them. The dog had multiple deep puncture wounds and its eye was swollen and looked really bad. I told them he was going to need stitches and they should take him to the pet ER. The boys were happy to see Nik and got to talk to him for a few minutes before they had to leave. Nik had been bit on his hand.
