Eli fell asleep during church today and slept for a couple hours.

Eli got Jacob's finger with his shovel

Stitches came out today.

We had our Sat goodies and watched tv this morning.  We left for Mom and Dad's and Vikki met us there.  We worked on moving their sand pile to the pool spot.  Got done around 12:30.  It was perfect weather for this job.  The boys filled the dump carts and Vikki and I unloaded them.  We stopped at Home depot on our drive home to get some deck stain.  Adam mowed the lawn when we got home.  We worked on staining the deck railing.  After dinner I worked in the woods.  Then they boys came out and built a fire.  It was smokey so we didn't stay out for too long.

The wifi wasn't working well today so Jared decided to head to his work after lunch.  The work guard took his temperature.  He liked having his comfy chair and multiple computers.  He said it was nice and quiet there.  I made garden stakes from pallet wood and the boys helped me paint vegetable names on them.  The boys joined together to play minecraft. When Jared got home we took a walk in the woods.  Then we worked on the deck.  Soon after we started it starting raining.  Jacob and Eli helped us paint on the back of the stakes.  After dinner we went back outside to finish the deck.  Took another walk in the woods.  Planted more grass seed by the pool.  The seed we planted last week is coming in good.

The boys started back with school today since the flood disaster. Adam and I played chess on the deck.  Neither of us won.  After lunch Jacob and I headed to school.  We picked up Jacob's yearbook and locker clean out.  We also dropped off his band uniform and picked up Adam's extra trombone.  This afternoon I went shopping.  I picked up some tools from Home depot to help us with the cable railing.  Then I went to meijer for groceries.  It was so busy and the lines were long.  I also stopped at TSC for chicken food.  Jared and I worked on the cable railing. It started raining so we quit until after dinner.  Soon after we started again it started raining hard.  We just got wet and finished that side in the rain.  We read to the boys before bed.

The boys slept in until after 8:00 this morning  Nik came over around 11:30 and stayed until after dinner.  The boys had a great time visiting and playing games with him  Jared got done with work around 3:00 and we all had a nerf battle.  This evening we worked on putting up the cable deck railing.

Happy Birthday to our 15 year old!

Jacob woke up around 5:30. He and his brothers watched tv until we were up around 6:30. Soon Jacob was ready to open his birthday gifts. He got a new nerf rival gun and extra darts, a leather wallet with his initials engraved, a little case lockback knife, a clipboard case, squirt guns, coin papers, a gatorade squeeze bottle, donuts, candy and gum. He unloaded his new gun on Daddy a couple times. The boys watched Star wars Rebels. We sat on the deck. It was warm already this morning. Daddy and Adam played chess and Adam won. The boys got out all their coins and wrapped their money. Adam had over $40 in coins. Nana and Papa called to talk to the birthday boy and then Aunt Bippi facetimed him. Jacob played minecraft on the computer using his new high pixel upgrade. After lunch the boys and Daddy played minecraft. Eli and I went swimming and had fun playing games in the pool. We played a game of 3-13 with Jacob and Adam.  I won but Daddy cut out my score and Jacob chewed on it to destroy the evidence. Daddy had a really high score. Daddy and Eli went into town to get pizzas. Jacob and Adam played more minecraft. We watched a marvel movie, star wars Rebels and A-team. We sang to the birthday boy and had cake and ice cream. I made Jacob and Eli a shake. Jacob stayed up late playing minecraft with Daddy. We had a great day celebrating with our 15 year old!
