Christmas Eve

Papa reading the Christmas story

Vikki made this sign for my parents

I love my gnome from Vikki!  His name is George.

Jacob had a really hard time getting to sleep last night because he was excited. Adam was awake and watching star wars when we woke up at 7:30. We woke the other boys and got ready to head to my parents house. We got there around 9:00. My sisters and their families arrived soon after us. Kenzie and Travis too. Dad had some presents for me to wrap and Kenzie came up to wrap something for Travis. We started with a prayer and Papa reading the Christmas story from the bible. The kids had fun giving gifts for their gift exchange. Eli got some star wars legos from Isaac, Adam got an itunes  card from Evan from and Jacob got a star wars book, sketch art, a magic cube, and a pendant from Kenzie. Next the kid opened gifts from Nana and Papa. Jacob, Adam, and Eli all got remote control helicopters and money. Eli got a star wars nerf gun, Adam got a 3DS game, and Jacob got a 10 ft cord for his ipod.  Jared and I got an apple peeler that attaches to our mixer, and a pottery stool. I got a tim hortons card, a dish cloth(made by Mom), a scrubby, a pizza pan, and a soup bowl holder. Kenzie made us some awesome pendants and a glass push pin. My pendant is a sheep and Jared's is a peep bunny peep that holds a toothpick.  Chuck and Sue came over and we ate around 1:30. The food was all so yummy!  Thank-you Mom!!!  The boys joined on their iPads to play minecraft, played in the basement and played mario on the Wii. Isaac helped Eli put together his lego sets. We had yummy pie and ice cream for desert. Dad and Chuck played Jared and Bruce in euchre. Aunt Tina and Angel made Michigan shirts for all the kids. They say my home in German in honor of my Grandma. We headed home around 8:00. The boys had fun flying their helicopters.  Adam tried his new star wars game on the ds.  Jacob worked on his scratch art in bed.
