Day 4

Grandma's pancakes! Yummy!

Sleepy boy

Great Sand Bay

At the Jampot

On our way to Pebble beach

We were all up just before 7:00. Grandma made pancakes this morning and every morning for the rest of our trip!  Thank you Grandma!!  Grandpa and Eli had blueberries pancakes. After breakfast Adam and Eli went for a ride on their scooters. Adam hit a rock and went over his handlebars. He said he rolled but only hurt his toe. Eli said it was funny because after his roll he stood up and said, “thank you, thank you” and took a bow. After breakfast we took a walk and the boys rode scooters.  Then we relaxed at our site and did some knitting. The boys went in the tent to read.  Eli fell asleep and slept for over an hour. Grandma came over and we played a game of 3-13. Daddy won. We asked Eli how his nap was but he said he was just reading. Daddy said he had nice blanket lines on his face from just reading.  After lunch we headed to Great Sand bay. It was a nice sunny day and about 65 degrees on the beach. Adam and Jacob went swimming but Eli thought it was too cold. The boys had a great time playing in the stream and on the sand hill. Wyatt enjoyed playing with a chip can and chasing dragonflies. Around 4:30 we headed to the Jampot for goodies and then back to camp.  After dinner we took a walk around the campground with Grandma and Grandpa. Then we walked over to Pebble beach to get more rocks for Leslie. Jacob and Eli picked blueberries. Eli gave Wyatt blueberries and after that he was eating them right off the bush. We sat by the fire and Adam went to the lake for a quick swim. We all laughed when Daddy couldn’t seem to find the marshmallow on his lip and then Jacob had a problem finding marshmallow on his nose.  Eli fell asleep while reading in his hammock. We got to sleep around 11:00.
