Day 12

We were up around 7am. Adam slept in until 8:00 and the other two were up by 9:00. After breakfast we took our morning walk.  Adam and Eli rode bikes with Dominic and Wraelyn. Jacob stayed at the campsite to read. Grandma came over and she joined us in a game of 3-13 we had just started with Jacob. Jacob won by a lot. After lunch we headed to Great Sand bay. The water wasn’t too cold today. It was a windy day and the boys had a great time playing in the waves. They also had fun in the stream and caught lots of frogs. We got back to camp around 5:00. We played a game of 3-13 with Jacob and he won again. After dinner we took a walk around the campground with Jacob and Grandma. Adam and Eli rode around on their bikes. We started a game of 3-13 with Grandma and Grandpa and Jacob. We stopped to go up Brockway and watch the sunset but it was very cloudy. We turned around and came back to finished our game. Grandma won. We sat by the fire for a little bit and made s’mores.

Day 11

We were up with Adam around 7:00. Grandma came over and we played a game of 3-13. Jacob and Eli woke up near the end of this game. During breakfast Eli said, “I can’t believe everyone forgot about Mrs Maplewicks.”  Haha, he meant Mrs Butterworth. Now we have a new name for syrup. We took our walk around the campground. Then Jared and I took a bike ride and found a bundle of wood.  After lunch we headed out to 10 foot.  On the drive there Eli was playing with a stick and an elastic band. The stick came back and hit him hard above his eye. The boys had a great time playing in the water. Daddy was sending boats (sticks) down the stream to them. From there we headed to Eagle river. The boys enjoyed jumping the waves in Lake Superior. The water was cold.  Daddy and Eli warmed up on the warm rocks. We stopped at the Jampot for cookies on our way back to camp. They were all out of ginger snaps so we got hermits and oatmeal peanut butter. The boys tried the oatmeal cookies but didn't really likes them. Adam liked the hermits. Back at camp we all played a game of 3-13. It was time to make dinner after we finished our game. Went for our evening walk after dinner and dishes.  We started a game of 3-13 with Jacob. Grandma and Grandpa came over so we started a new game with them. We had a lot of fun and I won. Adam and Eli had fun riding around the campground with Dominic. Jared made a fire and I took a walk with Adam and Eli. We made s’mores when we got back. 

Day 10

Adam was up before us this morning and headed to the bathroom. We took a bike ride around the campground to look for firewood but didn’t find any. Adam, Daddy, and I played a game of tonk and Adam won by one point. Daddy came in second. When Jacob woke up and he joined us for another game of tonk. After breakfast we took our morning walk. Wyatt got to play with Samantha (the poodle) again. They are heading back to CA today.  Eli and Dominic went for a bike ride. We relaxed at the site in the hammocks. Jacob and Adam read their books. We played a game of 3-13 and then went for a walk. After lunch we headed to Betty Grise. The water was really cold but we got used to it. The boys spent most of the time playing in the sand. Adam played in the water for awhile. We took Wyatt for a swim and he was shivering. Then he rolled and rubbed his face in the warm sand.  We stopped for pops on our way back to camp. We played a game of tonk with Jacob. Then Grandma came over and we played a game of 3-13. Jacob went to the bathroom on the 10th round.  We switched out Jacob’s cards for all bad cards (grandma's idea) but he didn’t say anything. We laughed and gave him the right cards. Jacob won.  After dinner we took a walk.  Adam, Eli, and Dominic had fun bike riding around the campground. Adam fell off his scooter and hurt his hand. We sat by the fire and had s’mores. Adam went in the tent to read his book. Eli played in the screen tent with games and magnetics.
