Bruce is drawing the millennium falcon.
We left our house around 8am and headed into town for chocolate milk and donuts. Then we headed to my parents house to celebrate Christmas with my family. Jacob helped Nana get the plates on the table ready with sausage and crackers. Mel and her family arrived soon and then Vikki and her family got there. We started with a prayer and then papa read the Christmas story from the bible. Then the kids started off with their gift exchange. Aunt Missy’s kids had our boys and they got cool balloon rockets, a star wars posable paper craft, light up glow balls that change colors each time you bounce them, and a light up flashing wheel. The guys handed out gifts and then the kids opened their presents from Nana and Papa. All the boys loved their star wars bladebuilder sets. Jacob said, Nana (and Papa) got a perfect gift! I love these things! I love them!” The kids also each got $10. Peyton and Isaac each got cool lego sets and Hailey got a drone. Jared and I got another 100 ft of our favorite garden hose! We got gift cards to Tim Horton’s and Applebees. I got a beautiful towel and towel holder (crocheted by Mom), a dishcloth (knitted by Mom), and silicone pot holders. I also got a keurig pod storage. Thank you Mom and Dad! Mel's family gave us a jar of Bruce's homemade salsa and pear jam! Thank you! Eli gave Papa his first bowl he spun on the wheel. He wrote on the tag that it was to Punch Man. Haha, he’s Papa’s punching buddy. He gave Nana some button’s that he’d made. It was so fun watching everyone open their gifts! The boys had fun playing with their light saber toys until dinner was ready. Nana and Papa gave Adam The Action Bible (Picture Bible) as a special gift. He was so excited and found a spot to sit and read. Chuck, Sue and Louies came over to celebrate with us. Mom made a wonderful meal! Thank you! After eating Kenzie got out her guitar and Hailey played her cornet. Jacob built his storm trooper paper craft and helped Eli build his darth vader. Then Jacob played some songs on his clarinet. Jacob’s light saber didn’t work so I headed to Toysrus to exchange it. The first one I exchanged it for also didn’t work so I headed back in to exchange again. Glad I brought batteries and tried it there. The adults played some card games. Vikki had to leave early because she wasn’t feeling well. Jacob helped Hailey learn how to fly her drone. Then Adam asked if we could play pictionary. We had so much fun and played that until it was time to head home.
